I received a question today wanting to know how do I know what area of the body you are focusing on when you try different fruits and veggies for detox purposes. With this question comes today's conversation. First and foremost, when you detox your overall health is improved. However, here is a simple charting of what helps where.

The above is just a quick glance however, let me focus in on a few others that are truly multi-functional. Now this does not mean the others listed above are not multi-functional but the following is what I consider to be a power punch.
Lemons: 1. Promote healthy digestion, all of the organs that are associated with digestion are then reaping the benefits. For those of you that are suffering from indigestion, bloating and heartburn then lemons are the answer. 2. Strengthens the immune system, fresh lemons in your water causes your body to absorb the iron you need in order to promote a healthy immune system. 3. Promotes skin repair, (This is of course my favorite benefit). Promotes proper cell regeneration in the skin, flush out the free radicals, helps promote collagen production, helps produce the protein that will help in the elasticity in the skin, and so much more. 4. Detoxifies the liver, it does this by increasing the production of bile thereby removing toxins and other harmful substances.
