What's in your cabinet?
Do you want to know how to detox, kill the bloat, build and protect your immune system, clear your skin and much more daily. The answer is simple, open up your cabinet. Instead of running off to your local coffee shop or drive thru in the morning, start your day with a natural metabolism boosting drink that will also provide you with several other benefits. I know some of you think you must have a jolt of java in the morning but if you try this you can avoid the crash. So here we go!
1-8 oz. Cup of water
1- teaspoon of Apple Cider Vinegar (Bragg or Heinz Unfiltered ACV with the mother)
1- teaspoon of raw honey (CBC Raw Honeycomb)
Additional adds: lemon, cayenne, and garlic
My preferred way of doing this is to use hot water so the honey will melt and then stir in the vinegar. However, I add ice cubes after to cool it down some to a drinkable level just so I can drink it straight down.
Just a few of the benefits: decrease In inflammation, boost energy, aids in weight loss, reduces bloating, reduces cholesterol, helps with digestion and constipation, reduces joint pain, helps aid acid reflux, helps brighten and clears the skin. These are just a few of the benefits, the list goes on and on. So tomorrow morning before you grab that cup of coffee or energy drink fix this and see how much better you feel.

Trying to figure out how to get all of the servings of vegetables and fruits that you need on a regular basis can often times be a daunting task. My quick answer is, if it can be put into a smoothie then do it. There are several benefits to drinking a smoothie but here are a few: 1. It saves time. 2. You can mask some things that may not taste that great on their own. 3. Improves digestion 4. Kids love them 5. Detox 6. Weight loss (If used for meal replacement) 7. Beauty(Healthy hair, nails, and skin) 8. Strengthen your immune system.
Here is a quick and easy smoothie that gives you so many benefits at one time. True, it has several ingredients but you can omit as you need to or use these same base ingredients daily with other combinations. The following will yield three 8 ounce cups. For me, I do this and then pass the other two cups to my husband and son.

In the past month or so I have been wrestling with the ideas of a more healthy approach to living, skin and body care and more. I have long since been screaming DETOX, however I wanted to do more. I want to help myself and others understand what it means to, "Do more and do better".
